Fans of the ‘Drishyam’ franchise have a major update regarding the cast of ‘Drishyam 3’. Producer Kumar Mangat Pathak has officially announced that acclaimed actor Jaideep Ahlawat will be joining the film, taking over the role previously intended for Akshaye Khanna. Pathak openly praised Ahlawat, calling him a “better actor” and a “better person” than Khanna. The producer emphasized that ‘Drishyam’ is a strong brand, suggesting that individual cast changes would not impact the film’s overall success.
Akshaye Khanna’s departure from ‘Drishyam 3’ reportedly stems from various issues, including disputes over his remuneration and his hairstyle for the character.
